I am a Technology Researcher at LBL’s Building and Industrial Energy Systems Department, where I work on demand flexibility, distributed energy resources, microgrids, and advanced energy controls. My work combines data analysis, techno-economic modeling, laboratory experimentation, and simulation to evaluate technologies including HVAC systems, thermal energy storage, EVs, batteries, and grid-interactive building systems. I also contribute to microgrid planning, DER connectivity strategies, ADMS/DERMS integration, VPP enablement, and secure communication and control architectures for real-time energy management.

Before joining Berkeley Lab, I completed my Master of Science in Energy Science, Technology, and Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, with a concentration in Engineering and Public Policy. My graduate work focused on energy markets, data science and modeling, power systems, storage, and decarbonization. I also worked at Exus Renewables North America, where I supported utility-scale solar and BESS technology evaluation and procurement through market research and LCOE/LCOS modeling.
