Xiaoya Chong received the B.Eng. degree from Zhejiang University and the M.Sc. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She got her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Computational Biology. During her Ph.D. study, she also undertook research internships at Tencent AI Lab and Noah's Ark Lab-Hong Kong, where she focused on utilizing convolutional neural networks, transformers and MLPs for low-SNR data analysis. Currently, she is a Computer Systems Engineer at Berkeley Lab, focusing on the deployment of machine learning models.
