Chuyang Liu is a postdoc research fellow in the Climate and Ecosystem Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research focuses on groundwater remediation and fate and transport of contaminants. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he used process-based and data-driven models to evaluate the impacts of climate change on groundwater quality across various scales. At Berkeley Lab, he focuses on the numerical modeling of coastal systems to develop insights into the complex interplay of coastal aquifers and sea-level rise under future climate change.
