Kan-Heng Lee is a Research Scientist in the Quantum Information Science & Technology division, and the Fabrication Lead at Advanced Quantum Testbed. His research focuses on developing quantum processor units (QPUs) at the foundational level, including architecture design, nanoscale fabrication, and fundamental material research. His current efforts include the development and scaling of three-dimensional integration of QPUs and the study of material properties at the quantum regimes.

Kan-Heng receives B.S. in Physics from National Taiwan University and Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cornell University under the supervision of Prof. Jiwoong Park. Before joining LBNL, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar with Prof. David Schuster at the University of Chicago.
