Yilun Xu is a research scientist in the Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is a co-inventor of QubiC, the world's first open-source control system for superconducting qubits established in 2018, which integrates electronics hardware, FPGA gateware, and engineering software. He is leading the AI/ML effort in QubiC, particularly focusing on ML on FPGA for real-time applications. His expertise includes RF control systems and FPGA-based digital signal processing.
