BIO

I am a Senior Scientific Engineering Associate (Sr. SEA) working in the Applied Nuclear Physics Program within the Nuclear Science Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. My research resides in the nuclear safety and security domain. I engineer software and analysis tools that are used to map radiation in complex 3-d environments, identify anomalous sources of gamma-ray radiation, and improve radiation detector readout.

Outside of my scientific research, I have a passion for STEM outreach, and I am a Berkeley Lab Teaching Scholar. Additionally, I am a co-chair of the Nuclear Science Division Community Stewardship Committee and a founding leader of the Neurotypes Accessibility Committee within the All Access Employee Resource Group.
