BIO

Marion Russell has been a key contributor within the Energy Analysis and Environmental Impacts Division since 1996. She currently manages an analytical laboratory, collaborating with scientists and engineers to design methods for capturing and measuring trace-level airborne pollutants to mitigate human exposure.

Utilizing controlled test chambers and large-scale field study methodologies, Marion’s research focuses on indoor environmental quality, chemical emissions, and pollutant dynamics. From 2004 to the present, her co-authored peer-reviewed work has extensively explored: tracer gas and aerosol transport, volatile indoor pollutants, third hand smoke remediation, combustion and residential exposures. Marion Russell has a post-graduate degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington.
