Toshiyuki Bandai (Toshi) is a postdoctoral scholar at the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, working on watershed modeling using numerical modeling and machine learning with Dr. Carl Steefel. After studying soil physics at The University of Tokyo, Japan, he began working on inverse modeling of water transport in soils at the University of California, Merced, USA, with Dr. Teamrat A. Ghezzehei.
